MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University men's track and field team had a successful day at the Millersville Metrics, Saturday. The Huskies finished ninth of 23 teams with 29.5 team points.

Tyler Bailey (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) and
Parker Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) highlighted the Huskies' Day with a pair of second places finished. Bailey took second overall in the 1,500-meter run with a personal-best time of 4:03.61 and a new Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying mark. Jarratt took seventh in the 1,500-meter run with a PR of 4:08.07. Jarratt finished second in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:58.14.
Brayden Graham (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) also posted a PR in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:05.98 and finished fifth overall.

Doug Walsh (Old Forge, Pa./Holy Cross High School) posted a career-best in the 110-meter hurdles as he finished 10
th in the prelims with a time of 19.38. He finished seventh overall in the long jump as well with a distance of 6.31 meters.

The 4x400-meter relay team of Bailey, Jarratt, Christopher McCormick, and
Stephen Suwala () finished seventh overall with a time of 3:32.70.

Shaheem Hill (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) posted a career-best in the long jump as he hit 5.79 meter and finished 18
th overall. Hill took fifth overall in the high jump as he cleared 1.80 meters.

The Huskies return to action next Saturday when they travel to the Elliston Early Bird Invitational hosted by Lock Haven University.
