LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University men's track and field team had strong day at the Elliston Early Bird Open hosted by Lock Haven University on Saturday. The Huskies finished with seven event championships and finished second overall as a team with 189 points.

Shaheem Hill (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) highlighted the Huskies' event champions in the field events as he won the high jump with a personal-best Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship qualifying height of 1.90 meters.
Doug Walsh (Old Forge, Pa./Holy Cross High School) took second in the high jump as he cleared a personal-best height of 1.86 meters, also a PSAC qualifying height. Walsh also posted a PR in the javelin as he finished fifth with a throw of 39.49 meters.

Anthony Moser (Natalie, Pa./Mt. Carmel) won the javelin with a toss of 51.39 meters and Tyrece Duke took third with distance of 45.15.
Jackson Baldini (/) posted a personal-best distance of 42.77 to take fourth in the javelin. Duke hit a PR in the shotput as he finished third with a distance of 11.96 meters.
Michael Makowski (Marion Heights, Pa./Mount Carmel Area) captured a pair of fourth-place finishes as he tossed a 36.72 meters in the hammer throw and finished with a long throw of 11.53 meters in the shot put.

Jhoan Robles (Hazleton, Pa./Hazleton) finished fifth in the shot with a throw of 9.63 meters and sixth in the hammer with a distance of 27.62 meters.

Dillon Steffy (Elliotsburg, Pa./West Perry High School) took second overall in the pole vault as he cleared 3.15 meters.

On the track,
Brayden Graham (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) ran in his first steeple chase and won the event with a time of 9:59.20. The time was a personal-best and a PSAC qualifying time for Graham.

Hank Anderson (Oakland, N.J./Indian Hills) won the 110-meter hurdles with a PSAC time of 15:89 and finished in a tie for 11
th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.27.
Kevin Konyar (Winchester, Va./James Wood) won the 1-mile with an outdoor PR of 4:31.92. The 4x400-meter relay team of
Tyler Bailey (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg),
Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area),
Liam Grayson (/), and
Tyreem Welton (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) won with a time of 3:36.08.

Bailey highlighted a BU-full 800-meter race with a winning time of 1:56.56.
Parker Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) took fourth overall with a time of 1:57.68 and
Chris McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) finished seventh at 1:59.43.
Stephen Suwala () posted an outdoor PR of 1:59.43 to take 10
th and
Richard Loughran () finished 12
th at 2:06.14. Basile took 13
th with a time of 2:06.61.

Welton took second overall in the finals of the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.61 while
Marco Olmedo (Norristown, Pa./Norristown Area) finished third with a time of 11.67. Olmedo also finished in a tie for 11
th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.27.

Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) took sixth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.31 and hit a PR and PSAC time as he finished fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.45.
Brady Dowell (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) hit an outdoor PR as he took sixth in the 400 with a time of 52.46.

Three Huskies scored in the 3,000-meter run as
Michael Gavio (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) finished third with a time of 9:05.08.
Ryan Duff (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) took fourth with a time of 9:22.39 and
Matthew Campbell (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) finished fifth with a time of 9:38.76.

The Huskies have short rest as they head to the Mondschein Multi on April 13 before taking on the Bison Outdoor Classic on Friday April 15 and Saturday April 16.
