FLEETWOOD, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's golf team finished the Golden Oaks Shootout in a tie for second place after a program-record 296 at Golden Oaks Golf Club on Monday afternoon.

The Huskies' eight-over 296 set a program record with the lowest single-round team score. This is the first sub-300 team round in Bloomsburg men's golf history. The maroon and gold finished the tournament at an even 600 after posting a 304 in the opening round.

Jake Taylor (Tyrone, Pa./Tyrone Area) recorded his best career finish in a three-way tie for second place after posting two-over 74 in the second round. His second round featured a total of three birdies.

Taylor matched the lowest score in program history in the opening round with a one-under 71. His combined score of 145 (+1) is the lowest two-round score in Bloomsburg men's golf history.

After shooting a five-over 77 in the opening round,
Pat Uebelacker (Spencerport, N.Y./Spencerport) recorded a career-low, one-over 73. Highlighted by three birdies on the front nine, Uebelacker finished tied for 11th with a score of 150 (+6).

Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) matched his career-low with a two-over 74 on Monday. An eagle and birdie on holes five and six helped propel Bush into a tie for 15th, shooting eight-over par across two rounds (152).

Jarred Berish (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) dropped three strokes off his first-round score with a three-over 75 on day two. He recorded three birdies en route to a four-way tie for 21st.

Bryson Hicklin () finished 53rd with a two-round score of 172 (+28). His opening round score of 81 is a career-low.

The Huskies return to action on Thursday, October 12 as they host the Husky Invitational at the Golf Course at Frosty Valley.
