LEBANON, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's golf team sits in tenth place after the opening round of the 2023 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Golf Championship Tournament with a score of 331 (+43). Junior
Jake Taylor (Tyrone, Pa./Tyrone Area) is tied for 15th after posting a six-over 78 on day one.

IUP leads with a 14-over team score of 302, while Gannon sits in second with a 19-over 307 and Millersville is in third with a 21-over 309.

Taylor started the PSAC tournament strong, recording three birdies on the front nine en route to a one-over 37 through nine holes. He finished the day in six-way tie for 15th. Overall, Taylor finished the day with four birdies and five pars.

Matt Pulcinella (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley) shot an 11-over 83 to finish day one tied for 33rd. An eagle on the 480-yard, par 5 16th hole highlighted Pulcinella's round.
Tyler Wilkin () finished one stroke behind with a 12-over 84. He shot four over on the back nine to end in a tie for 37th.

Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) is in 50th with a 23-over 95.
