BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University football team is set to host the John Sterling Devlin Memorial Golf Classic and Silent Auction in June. The 24th annual event will be held on Saturday, June 3, at the Frosty Valley Country Club in Danville, Pennsylvania. Check-in and registration will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a 12:00 p.m. shotgun start.

The Huskies will honor the life of Irmgard (Irma) K. Devlin along with the legacy of her husband, John S. Devlin during the tournament this year. Irma passed away in January 2023 and was a long time supporter of the Huskies and the football program at BU.

From her obituary, "Irma was employed as a special education teacher for many years. She was also employed by the United States Postal Service and last at the Bloomsburg Walmart store for 17 years.

She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg. An avid quilter and expert knitter and cook. She was also a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother."
