LEWISBURG, Pa. – The women's track and field team had several solid performances as a number of athletes set new personal records at the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell University on Sunday.
 
Jaime Diedel (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) got things started for Bloomsburg with a solid performance in the 3000m run. Diedel hit a PR with her time of 10:20.75, which was good enough for her to place ninth overall in an event that saw 67 runners. Emma Fortune (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./James M. Coughlin) and Gabrielle Wetzel (Manchester Township, NJ/Manchester Township) also PR'd in the event. Fortune hit a time of 11:00.48 while Wetzel ran an 11:13.10. 
 
In the javelin throw, Kelly Leszcynski (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) threw a career best 43.48 (142-8) to finish fourth overall in the competition. Additionally, Leszcynski's throw broke a program record. The freshman's mark surpassed the school's previous record of 42.98m (141') that was set by Morgan Nicholson in 2015.

Molly Raville (Gettysburg, PA/Delone Catholic High School) threw a 34.12 (111-11) and Becca Martin (Wellington Florida/Cushing Academy) hit a mark of 31.88 (104-7) in the same event. 
 
Alyssa Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) hit a PR in the 800m run, finishing with a time of 2:21.12. Megan Gambogi (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) ran a 2:21.81 in the same event, and Sarah Sweet (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prepatory) ran a 2:25.75. 
 
Bloomsburg's 4x100 team that consisted of Melissa Sicinski (Fountainville, Pa./Pennridge), Sarah Castronova (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley), Emma Kay (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone Area High School) and Natalya Heard (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area) finished 22^nd overall in the event with a time of 49.78.
 
In the triple jump, Dahlia Hosey (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) hit a mark of 10.97 and Devin Hubler (Minersville, Pa./Minersville Area) jumped a 10.96.
 
Castronova ran a 58.32 to place 18^th overall in the 400m run. Madison Baudille (Babylon, N.Y./Babylon) threw a 10.52 in the shot put, and Julia Magee (Chalfont, Pennsylvania/Central Bucks South) ran a 6:02.79 in the mile. Emma Kay (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone Area High School) ran a 27.74 in the 200m run. 
 
In the 400m hurdles, Delaney Porter (Pen Argyl, Pa./Penn Argyl Area) hit a PR by running a time of 1:08.24 to finish 35^th overall. 
 
Bloomsburg's 4x400 team closed out the day as Castronova, Gambogi, Kelsie Robinson (Media, Pa./Penncrest High School) and Kay finished 13^thoverall with a time of 4:02.88. 
 
The Huskies will be back in action with the Shippensburg Mid-Week Meet on Wednesday.
