SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's track and field team had another impressive showing at the Shippensburg Mid-Week Meet, Wednesday afternoon. The Huskies posted nine Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying marks and 19 top-eight finishes.

Senior
Dahlia Hosey (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) led the way in the jumps for the Huskies hitting a personal-best in the long jump and a pair of PSAC marks. Hosey took third overall in the triple jump with a distance of 11.39 meters, her longest jump of the season, and finished fourth in the long jump with a PR of 5.72 meters.
Devin Hubler (Minersville, Pa./Minersville Area) had a strong day in the horizontal jumps as well as she hit a lifetime PR in the long jump and took seventh with a distance of 5.43 meters. She finished fourth overall in the triple jump with a college-best jump of 11.27 meters. She is now qualified for both jumps at the PSAC Championship meet.

Sydney Derr (Fogelsville, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) took seventh in the pole vault as she cleared 3.05 meters and
Julia Magee (Chalfont, Pennsylvania/Central Bucks South) took sixth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:14.99.

Freshman
Kelly Leszcynski (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) led the throwers once again as she hit an NCAA provisional and PSAC mark in the javelin. Leszcynski won the event with a toss of 42.18 meters, her third-longest throw of the season.

Kendra Yeboah (Breinigsville, Pa./Parkland High School) took sixth in the shot put with a throw of 10.51 meters and
Makayla Force (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) hit a PSAC mark in the discus with a toss of 37.23 meters for seventh overall.
Kelly Gilmore (Colmar, Pa./North Penn) also picked up a PSAC mark as she finished sixth in the hammer with a distance of 44.95 meters.

On the track,
Sarah Castronova (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) led a speedy group of Huskies in the 200-meter dash after finishing second overall with a time of 26.59.
Megan Gambogi (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) hit a college PR after she took sixth with a time of 27.27 and
Kelsie Robinson (Media, Pa./Penncrest High School) finished seventh with a college PR time of 27.34.

Castronova earned her second second-place finish after taking second overall in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.75 and Robinson finished fifth with a time of 1:00.23, both PSAC qualifying times.

Sarah Sweet (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prepatory) ran a 2:25.56 to take second in the 800-meter run while
Emma Fortune (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./James M. Coughlin) finished third in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 5:12.32, her fastest time in the event this season.

The Huskies get right back to action this weekend at the Bucknell Team Challenge at Bucknell University on Saturday, April 22.
