LANCASTER, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's swimming team had an extremely impressive final day of the 2024 Franklin & Marshall Invite as
Rylee Wenzel (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) and
Morgan Holmes (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) picked up NCAA 'B' Cuts. The Huskies had season bests in every individual race and posted four top-three finishes, including a pair of wins.

Just two days removed from their NCAA 'B' cut times in the 50-yard free, the pair of Huskies added another NCAA time in the 100-yard freestyle. Wenzel won the event with a time of 51.21, her fastest time this season and currently the fastest time in the PSAC. Holmes was just behind her teammate as she took second with a time of 51.94, the second-fastest time in conference right now. Holmes set the tone for her brother, Andrew Holmes, who also posted an NCAA 'B' cut in the 100-yard free, making them the first brother-sister duo in recent history to do so at Bloomsburg.

Sid Beers swam her best time in the 100-yard free as she touched the wall at 52.98 to take 17
th overall.
Samantha Linsey (Camp Hill, Pa./Cedar Cliff) finished 18
th overall with her season-best time of 53.26. Â

Gabi Walsh (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) kicked of the finals session with a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke at 2:05.51, currently the second-best time in the PSAC.
Grace McBlain (Aldan, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) came in sixth with a season-best time of 2:07.67.

A pack of Huskies had season-best swims in the 200-yard breaststroke as
Vanesa Valli (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) led the way with an 11
th-place finish at 2:26.71.
Taleah Ruben (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville) was not far off as she took 13
th overall at 2:27.53 and
Ella Dittmar (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) finished 22
nd overall with a time of 2:29.98.
Sadie Ludwick (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) came in 24
th with a time of 2:30.69.

McBlain won the 200-yard butterfly with a season-best time of 2:06.60, currently the third-best time in the PSAC.
Jordyn Kinnee (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) took 13
th overall with a season-best time of 2:12.42 while
Ashley Martin (Middletown, N.Y./Pine Bush) took 19
th with a season-best time of 2:13.95.
Catie Strayer (York, Pa./Central York) finished 24
th with a season-best time of 2:18.27.

Madison Osanitsch (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg) posted the third-best time in the PSAC in the 1,650-yard freestyle as she finished sixth overall at 17:49.44.
Ella Dittmar (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) took 25
th with a time of 18:47.81.

The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Osanitsch, Beers, Holmes, and Wenzel took second overall with their season-best time of 3:31.29, currently the best time in the PSAC.
Jewel Little (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg Area), Linsey,
Julia Riegel (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks South), and
Sarah Pickel (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) finished 16
th overall with a time of 3:40.14.

The Huskies have some time off as they train through the month of December before heading to Florida for their annual training trip. Bloomsburg gets back in the pool against another team on January 17 when the Huskies welcome IUP to the Nelson Field House Pool for a dual meet.
