LANCASTER, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's swimming team sits in fourth overall after the second day of the 2024 Franklin & Marshall Invitational. The Huskies hit not only a season-best time in every individual race, but every individual swimmer posted a PSAC qualifying time during Saturday's finals.

Grace McBlain (Aldan, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) led a trio of Huskies in the first race of the evening as she took ninth overall and won the B Finals in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:38.69.
Taleah Ruben (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville) also swam in the B finals and took 17
th overall with a time of 4:40.93. Jordyn Kinne swam in the C Finals and finished 21sat overall at 4:45.67.

Rylee Wenzel (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) posted a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly as she was the first Husky in an A Final Saturday night. She touched the wall at 56.47 for the fifth-place finish.
Vanesa Valli (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) took on the B Finals and took 10
th overall with a time of 58.82.

Madison Osanitsch (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg) took sixth in the A Final of the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.12 while
Morgan Holmes (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) came in 12
th overall at 1:57.39 as she swam in the B Finals. Sid Beers finished 24
th overall with a time of 2:01.40 in the C Finals.

Valli swam in her first A Final of the evening as she took seventh overall in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.64.
Sadie Ludwick (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) finished second in the C Finals and 18
th overall with a time of 1:07.99 and Ruben finished eighth in the same finals and 24
th overall at 1:09.99.

Gabi Walsh (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) had the highest individual finish of the day as she finished fourth overall in the A Finals with a time of 57.96 in the 100-yard backstroke. Holmes took 10
th overall and second in the B Finals with a time of 59.93.

McBlain, Beers, Holmes, and Osanitsch took 10
th overall in the 800 freestyle relay with a time of 8:03.36 and Ruben,
Ella Dittmar (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley),
Sarah Pickel (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon), and
Samantha Linsey (Camp Hill, Pa./Cedar Cliff) finished 14
th with a time of 8:06.87.

McBlain then teamed up with Ludwick, Kinnee, and
Julia Riegel (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks South) to take 17
th overall with a time of 1:51.40.

The Huskies close out the Franklin and & Marshall Invite on Sunday, November 24. The prelims start at 10:00 a.m. followed by the finals that evening.
