WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's golf team sits in ninth place after round one of its season opening tournament at the Vulcan Fire Classic on Monday afternoon.
 
Luca Neally (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) leads the Huskies in scoring, siting seven-over par (79) after 18 holes of play.
 
Jarred Berish (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) sits two stokes back of Neally after posting an opening round score of 81 (+9). Berish recorded a trio of birdies on the front nine.
 
Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) is in a tie for 55th after shooting a 14-over par 86 wile Matt Pulcinella (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley) is tied for 60th with a 15-over par 87.
 
Jason Uebelacker posted a 21-over 93 in the opening round.
 
Collectively, the Huskies are 45-over par heading into the second day of the Vulcan Fire Classic at Lone Pine Country Club on Tuesday.
