Box Score BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's tennis team swept singles matches the Huskies cruised to a 7-0 win over Shepherd University to open Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action, Monday afternoon.

Denis Dementev (Saint-Petersburg, Russia/) and
Iu Casamitjana (Igualada, Spain/Escola Pia Igualada) won 6-1 at No. 3 doubles to open the match for Bloomsburg and
Fernando Barros (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Hoosac School) and
Jaime Soria (Pamplona, Spain/Liceo Monjardin) clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles. The Rams closed out the opening matches with a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles.

Landon Wall (Tabernacle, N.J./Seneca High School) got a default win at No. 6 singles to push the Huskies' lead to 2-0 and Casamitjana won his second match of the day with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles. Barros clinched his second point of the day for the Huskies, this time the match point, as he won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

Soria kept the Huskies rolling with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles and Dementev won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 singles for his second victory of the day.
Albert Martin (Barcelona/Instituto Menendez y Pelayo) closed out the match and completed the sweep for Bloomsburg with a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles.

The Huskies return to action on Friday when they travel to Jefferson for a non-conference match in Philadelphia, Pa.
