BEDFORD SPRINGS, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's golf team placed fourth at the Pitt-Johnstown Bedford Springs Invitational, posting a team score of 313 on day two on Tuesday.
The Huskies shot a combined team score of 630 across the two-day tournament, finishing three shots back of third place.
Luca Neally (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) jumped eight spots on day two while dropping six strokes from his previous round. He finished in a tie for eleventh place while going 12-over par across two days. Neally recorded three birdies and an even score on the front nine en route to a three-over par 75.
Matt Pulcinella (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley) finished tied for 16th after shooting 15-over par overall. He recorded two birdies, including a three on the par-four 18th to cap of a Tuesday round of 80 (+8).
Jake Taylor (Tyrone, Pa./Tyrone Area) and
Jarred Berish (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) ended the tournament in a part of a four-way tie for 22nd, going 16-over par. Taylor dropped eight strokes from his Monday score, recording three birdies on his way to a four-over par 76 in round two. Berish shot an 82 in the second round.
Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) went 15-over on day two to end in a tie for 28th, shooting 22-over par across two days.
The Pitt-Johnstown Bedford Springs Invitational served is the conclusion of the 2023-24 men's golf season.
