HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's tennis team picked up an 8-1 win over non-conference opponent, Juniata College, Thursday afternoon.

The Huskies opened the match with a sweep of doubles action.
Fernando Barros (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Hoosac School) and Jamie Soria won 8-7 (9-7) at No.1 doubles while
Iu Casamitjana (Igualada, Spain/Escola Pia Igualada) and Deis Dementev picked up an 8-0 win at No. 2.
Arnav Sharma (Haryana,India/Suncity School) and
Chaitanya Choudhary (Karnal, Haryana, India/St. Theresa's Convent) won 8-1 at No. 3 doubles for the sweep.

Soria picked up his second win of the afternoon with a 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles while Sharma won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4 for his second win. Choudhary won 6-2, 6-2 at No 6 singles to win his second match of the day.

Albert Martin (Barcelona/Instituto Menendez y Pelayo) won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and
Landon Wall (Tabernacle, N.J./Seneca High School) won 7-5, 6-4 at No. 5 singles to pick up a win on the day.
The Huskies head to Millersville on Friday for a 2:00 p.m. Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference match to determine seeding for the upcoming PSAC tournament.
