MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Bloomsburg men's golf team wrapped up action at the Marauder Invitational, finishing in fourth place.
As a team, the Huskies saw a 25-stroke improvement between day one and day two to conclude the second day of competition. The round score of 298 matched the best single-round score across the two days of action.
Jarred Berish (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) led the day-two efforts for Bloomsburg, tying a round-best 72 (E) on the day to finish in a tie for seventh overall.
Matt Pulcinella (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley) wrapped up the competition in 17th after shooting seven-over 72 on the day and 13-over 157 in total. Three members of the Huskies finished in a tie for 18th, as
Luca Neally (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post),
Pat Uebelacker (Spencerport, N.Y./Spencerport) and
Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) all finished at 159 (+15) at the Marauder Invitational.
Bush made up the most ground on day two, coming in at a two-over 74 for the round. Neally and Uebelacker ended the day at 76 (+4) with their final scores.Â
On the Horizon:
The Bloomsburg men's golf team is tentatively set to return to action on Thursday, April 11, for a day of competition against Scranton. The Huskies host the Husky Invitational at Frosty Valley on Thursday, April 18.
