BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's tennis team will take on No. 1 Edinboro in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships at 10 a.m. on Friday morning at Burt Reese Tennis Center in Bloomsburg.

The Huskies enter their semifinal matchup with a 3-3 conference record while Edinboro enters as the undefeated top seed.

Denis Dementev (Saint-Petersburg, Russia/) leads the maroon and gold with a 5-1 record from the No. 1 singles slot. Against Edinboro, Dementev took down Bruno Sabio in three sets (7-5, 2-6, 10-8).
Albert Martin (Barcelona/Instituto Menendez y Pelayo) is 3-2 on the year from the No. 2 singles slot while
Fernando Barros (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Hoosac School) and
Jaime Soria (Pamplona, Spain/Liceo Monjardin) post 2-4 records.

In doubles action,
Vishesh Patel (Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India/Asia English School) and
Sergio Dilan (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Cedin) hold a 4-2 record as the top pair, including a 7-6 (7-3) victory over Edinboro's Sabio and Rocco Palombarini.
Iu Casamitjana (Igualada, Spain/Escola Pia Igualada) and Dementev also have a 4-2 doubles record from the No. 3 doubles slot. Barros and Soria have gone 3-3 from the No. 2 slot.

In the previous meeting between the teams, Edinboro down the Huskies 6-1.

The winner will then take on the winner of No. 2 Mercyhurst and No. 3 Millersville on Saturday May 4 at 10 a.m.
