LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Junior Jerry Griffen-Batchler (Norristown, Pa./Germantown Academy) had another career-day for the Bloomsburg football team and was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Co-Offensive Player of the Week, Monday.

Griffen-Batchler had a monster game for the Huskies as he finished the day with 154 receiving yards on nine catches and two touchdowns, including the go-ahead touchdown catch with 27 seconds to play to lead the Huskies to a 23-21 win over West Chester. It is the second week in a row the Huskies had a 100+ yard receiver and Griffen-Batchler's 154 yards are the most in his career. Saturday's game was the second time this season he has caught two touchdown passes.

Griffen-Batchler caught a 15-yard pass to kick off the game-winning touchdown drive before hauling in the 24-yard pass in the back corner of the end zone in tight coverage. Griffen-Batchler caught his first touchdown pass of the game on the Huskies' first drive as the junior hauled in pass from KJ Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) at the WCU 25-yard line and took it the rest of the way for the score.

Griffen-Batchler had a one-handed catch on the sideline on 3rd-and-10 to keep a Huskies' drive alive in the third quarter. Bloomsburg eventually scored on an 11-yard run by Riley to take a 14-0 lead.

It is  the second weekly honor for the junior from Norristown as he was named the PSAC East Special Teams Player of the Week following the Week One games.

The Huskies put their two-game winning streak on the line as they head to #8 Kutztown for a PSAC East showdown at Andre Reed Stadium. Kick off is set for Noon.
