LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's track and field team had a strong showing at the Gulden Invite hosted by Bucknell, Saturday. The Huskies finished ninth with 16.5 team points.

Freshman
Christopher Brittingham (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) cemented his name in the Bloomsburg record book as he broke his school record in the 60-meter sprint. Brittingham qualified for the finals with a time of 6.99, dropping his school record by 0.01. The freshman took fifth overall with a time of 6.94, shaving .06 off of his school record he set last week.

Brittingham qualified for the 200-meter run with a time of 22.46 as he took fifth overall.

Andrew Kane (/) set a personal-best in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:52.55 to take 12
th overall and
Evan Babarsky (Jessup, Pa./Valley View) finished 13
th with a time of 2:56.71.

Peyton Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) took 11
th overall in the 1-mile run with a season-best time of 4:25.98.

Zhamir Rowan (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia) took seventh overall with a personal-best jump of 6.70 meters (21' 11.75") in the long jump.
Daniel Ajuz (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) finished ninth overall with a jump of 6.67 meters (21' 10.75").

Trevor Johnson (Kintnersville, Pa./Palisades, Pa.) took seventh overall with a jump of 13.45 meters in the triple jump and
Landon Kester () finished 19
th with a jump of 11.66 meters (38' 3.25").

The 4x400-meter relay team of Kane,
William Burdett (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township),
Brady Deivert (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area), and
Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) took eighth overall with a time of 3:37.99 and the 4x800-meter relay team of
Peyton Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area),
Salahudinn Abdul-Hamid (State College/State College Area), Richard Loughran, and
Sean Clare (Athens, Pa./Athens Area) took fifth with a time of 8:34.27.

The Huskies return to action next weekend back at the Bucknell for the Bison Open and Multi on Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1.
