TEMPE, Ariz. – Jack Seaborn (Cambridge, England/The Leys School) and
Alejandro Higuera (Ciudad Obregon, Mexico/Colegio Weston) of the Bloomsburg men's tennis team were ranked 14th and 17th in the Atlantic region respectively by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on November 12.
Seaborn posted a 5-4 record in singles competition during the fall season. The freshman is the highest ranked Husky since
Denis Dementev (Saint-Petersburg, Russia) in 2024, who was also ranked 14th.
Higuera, former PSAC Freshman of the Year, also makes an appearance on the ITA rankings. Higuera had a record of 6-2 in the fall season.
Seaborn and Higuera are the third and fourth ranked players in the poll from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
Bloomsburg's spring slate begins Saturday, February 28 at 5 p.m. against Frostburg State in Hershey, Pa.
