INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Senior
Rylee Wenzel (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) and the 200-yard freestyle relay team had a strong showing at the 2025 NCAA Women's Swimming Championships.

Wenzel narrowly missed a spot on in the consolation finals of the 50-yard free on Wednesday. She finished 21
st overall in the prelims with a time of 23.31, just .07 off the final spot for the finals.

The senior returned to the pool on Friday with her teammates
Rachel Cunningham (Hanover, Pa./South Western),
Sidney Beers (DeBois, Pa./DuBois Area), and
Morgan Holmes (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) for the 200-yard freestyle relay. The foursome finished 18
th overall with a time of 1:33.73. Beers kicked off the race with a 24.50 in the first 50 before Cunningham swam a 22.97 in the second. Holmes finished her 50-yard sprint at 23.56 while Wenzel swam a 22.70 in the anchor 50-yards.

Wenzel finished out the championships in the 100-yard freestyle Saturday morning. She took 36
th overall with a time of 51.24 in the prelims.

The 2025 NCAA Swimming Championships caps a highly successful season for the Huskies under second-year head coach
Bridget Hilferty. Bloomsburg finished as the runner's up at the 2025 PSAC Championships. Wenzel won both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle and the 200-yard freestyle relay team won the title as well.
