Box Score EDINBORO, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's tennis team battled a tough Edinboro team on Saturday but fell to the Fighting Scots, 7-0.

The Fighting Scots claimed wins at No. 2 and 3 doubles to win the first point of the match but
Sergio Dilan (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Cedin) and
Vishesh Patel (Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India/Asia English School) avoided the sweep with a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles.

The Huskies battled at all six singles matches, including a thrilling match at No. 4.
Albert Martin (Barcelona/Instituto Menendez y Pelayo) won the first set 6-4 before dropping the second set 7-5 to force a tie-break. Fabricio won 1-0 (11-9) in the tie break set to take the match despite a battle from Martin.

Denis Dementev (Saint-Petersburg, Russia/) pushed Stanislas Noel to the brink at No. 1 singles but ultimately fell 7-5, 7-5.
Jaime Soria (Pamplona, Spain/Liceo Monjardin) dropped the first set at No. 6 singles 6-4 but went toe-to-toe with Rocco Palombarini despite the loss as he fell 7-6 in the second set.

The Huskies get back to action on Saturday when they host West Chester in a PSAC match at 1:00 p.m. at the Burt Reese Tennis Center.
