Box Score HERSHEY, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's tennis team picked up its second victory of the spring season after defeating Salem, 5-2, in Hershey on Saturday afternoon.

Bloomsburg started the match off strong by sweeping the doubles' bouts to secure an early 1-0 lead.
Jaime Soria (Pamplona, Spain/Liceo Monjardin) and
Fernando Barros (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Hoosac School) picked up the first win of the day with a 6-1 victory in the No. 3 doubles match.
Denis Dementev (Saint-Petersburg, Russia/) and
Iu Casamitjana (Igualada, Spain/Escola Pia Igualada) clinched the doubles point with a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles.
Sergio Dilan (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Cedin) and
Vishesh Patel (Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India/Asia English School) completed the sweep at No. 1 doubles claiming a 6-2 victory.

Dementev picked up his second win of the day with a dominant 6-0, 6-0 victory from the No. 1 slot.
Albert Martin (Barcelona/Instituto Menendez y Pelayo) extended the Huskies lead to 3-0 after claiming a 6-0, 6-4 victory at No. 4 singles.

Soria clinched the match for Bloomsburg at No. 6 singles, winning 6-0, 6-2 before
Alejandro Higuera () won 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 5 slot.

Patel fell at the No. 2 singles 6-3, 5-7, 1-6 while Casamitjana was defeated 4-6, 7-6, 5-7 at No. 3 singles.

Men's tennis returns to the court on Saturday, March 15 as they face off against Davis & Elkins College and West Virginia Wesleyan in Buckhannon, West Virginia.
