BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's track & field team competed in the annual Maroon & Gold Invitational at Redman Stadium on Friday evening. The Huskies finished the day with 11 event wins and 24 podium finishes.

As part of the meet, the Bloomsburg track & field program honored members of its senior class. The group includes
Jaime Diedel (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn),
Briannan Eckard (Danville, Pa./Danville Area), Megan Gamboji,
Natalya Heard (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area), Isabekka Horvath,
Emma Kay (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone Area),
Becca Martin (Wellington, Fla./Cushing Academy) and
Lilly Slater (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township).

Bloomsburg nearly swept the field events, winning all except the pole vault and javelin.

The Huskies saw
Julia Beccari (Lake Ronkonkoma, Pa./Sachem North) take home the win in the discus throw, achieving a personal-best mark of 41.18 meters. it is her first collegiate throw over 40 meters.
Mikaela Sullivan (/) posted a third-place throw of 35.34 to set a personal best.
Grace Rizzo (/) set a PR with a flat 31.00.

In the hammer throw, Brianna Eckard took first with a 46.40-meter throw while
Grace Lippincott (/) placed third with a mark of 38.62. Two Huskies record personal bests on the day, in
Julia Beccari (Lake Ronkonkoma, Pa./Sachem North) (4th / 38.31) &
Mikaela Sullivan (/) (8th / 33.47).

Bloomsburg went 1-2-3 in the long jump with
Aria Messner (Avoca, Pa./Pittston Area) taking the win with a jump of 5.58 meters.
Devin Hubler (Minersville, Pa./Minersville Area) placed second with a mark of 5.38 while Abby Parise took third with a jump of 5.31.

The Huskies also claimed the entire podium in the high jump, as
Jewel Little (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg Area) cleared 1.56 meters.
Isabella Horvath (Cresco, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) finished second with a with a jump of 1.41 meters.
Paige Casterline (/) also cleared 1.41 meters and took third.

Devin Hubler (Minersville, Pa./Minersville Area) won the triple jump with a mark of 11.17 meter while her teammate Lindsey Peleaz placed second with a mark of 10.49. Shot put saw
Becca Martin (Wellington, Fla./Cushing Academy) took home the victory with a throw of 12.51. Sullivan finished third and have a 12.51.

Coral Shivok (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) moved into fourth on the PSAC performance list with a personal best, 3.65 meters.
Hannah Gerhart (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) recorded a PR by jumping 2.75 meters.

On the track,
Abigail Parise (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) took home three event wins, winning the 100-hurdles and 400-hurdles while also competing as a part of the Huskies 4x400. Ikeler finished second behind Parise in both individual (100H - 15.34 / 400H – 1:07.36 PR).

Maddy Ikeler (/), Gambogi and Messner improved their PSAC qualifying mark to 4:12.99 after taking the win in the 4x400 meter relay.

Gambogi, Messner,
Emma Kay (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone Area) and
Abby Rochester (Pocono Summit, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) teamed up to take the team victory in the 4x100 meter relay.

Sydney Werner (Reading, Pa./Conrad Weiser) won the 1,500-meter with a time of 4:55.17 while
Meah Eshelman (Bedford, Pa./Bedford) took second with time of 5:01.43. Messner placed second in the 100, running a time of 13.14. Kay (27.37), Gambogi (28.00) and Rochester (28.08) went 3-4-5 in the 200 meters. Rochester's time was a personal best.

Heard ran a 1:01.15 in the 400 to take second place while
Ashlyn Albright (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita) took third in the 800-meter with a time of 2:31.38.
Alyssa Cunningham (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) finished the 5,000-meter strong with a time of 18:22.06.
