KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's golf team recorded a pair of top ten finishes at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships while the team placed fourth at the Berkleigh Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.

It was a historic outing for the Huskies at the PSAC Championships, recording the program's highest finish at conference tournament. Bloomsburg shot a 58-over 346 in a windy final round to finish with a three-day score of 1031 (+167).

"They really toughed it out under very difficult conditions," head coach
Gary Sohosky stated about the team's play. "Their goal was to finish fourth and they did. I couldn't be prouder of them!"

Ryleigh Faust (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) placed ninth to record the highest finish at the PSAC Championships in program history. The Lewisburg-native climbed three spots up the leaderboard after carding a nine-over 81 with a birdie and nine pars. Faust finished with a three-day score of 247 (+31).

Julia Zonca (Newton, N.J./Newton High School) surged through the leaderboard to a tenth-place finish on Sunday, moving up eight spots with a nine-over 81. Ten pars, including five-straight to start the round, highlighted the senior's second-straight 81. Zonca's three-day score was a 34-over 250.

Zonca and Faust posted the second-best rounds of the day behind a seven-over 79 from PSAC Champion Ditte Petersen.

Noemi Krizso (New Windsor, N.Y./Cornwall Central) finished tied for 24th with a 20-over 92 on day three, finishing the tournament with a 45-over 261.
Grace Green (Shadyside, Ohio/Shadyside High School) carded a 20-over 92 as well, posting a 61-over 277 across the three days.

Emma Tolbert () finished 36th after shooting a 23-over 95 in the third round. She finished with a 60-over 276 in her first PSAC Championship.

The Huskies' fourth-place finish achieved a goal that Sohoksy set for the program back in its' inaugural season in 2021. "My goal was always to crack the top five in the conference championship by year four and we did," said Sohosky.
