Sophia Reed (Estero, Fla./Estero) recorded the second hole-in-one in program history as the Huskies placed fifth at the Millersville Fall Invitational on Tuesday.

On the 148-yard, par-3 15th hole, Reed sunk her tee shot to post the second hole-in-one in program history. Reed finished the day with a nine-over 81, improving by eight strokes from her day one score. Ending the tournament 28th, the freshman improved nine places and finished with a two-day score of 170 (+26).

Freshman
Kate Pettersen (Alberta, Canada/North Island Distance Education) posted the highest finish for Bloomsburg, tying for 20th at 20-over par. Her second-round score of 81 (+9) featured two birdies and eight pars.

Emma Lewis (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown) was the third Husky to finish with an 81 on the scorecard, notching ten pars on the day. She improved nine strokes from her first-round score and tied for 29th at 27-over par.

Grace Green (Shadyside, Ohio/Shadyside High School) tied for 26th at the tournament at 25-over par. She ended the second round with a score of 89 (+17).
Emma Tolbert (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) shot an 88 (+16) to improve by three strokes and finish in a tie for 38th.

The Huskies finished 43-over par (331) on the day and moved up one place to finish in fifth.

Bloomsburg competes next at the Susquehanna Tri-Meet at the Susquehanna Country Club on Sunday, September 28.
