PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Sophomore
Kelly Leszcynski (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) represented the Bloomsburg women's track & field team at the 2025 Penn Relays and took fourth overall in the championship flight of the javelin, Saturday afternoon.
Despite rainy conditions, Leszcynski had a tremendous day on the javelin runway. The sophomore was the top non-NCAA DI finisher as she finished with a throw of 44.59 meters (146' 3") in her final throw of the day. The mark is both a PSAC-qualifying mark and an NCAA DII provisional mark.
Leszcynski currently ranks second in the PSAC and the Atlantic Region in the javelin, and 16th in DII with a mark of 46.72 meters (151' 10"), which she set at the Jim Taylor Duals on March 28.
The Huskies return to action for their regular season finale on May 3 at the LHU Qualifier before the 2025 PSAC Women's Track and Field Championships. The championship meet will take place at Slippery Rock from May 8-10.
