LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Two members of the Bloomsburg women's track & field team earned All-PSAC honors and Kelly Leszcynski (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) was named the PSAC Women's Track & Field Field Athlete of the Year, Thursday. Leszcynski was first team for the javelin and Coral Shivok (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) earned second-team honors in the pole vault.

The conference major awards are voted on by the league's coaches while All-Conference honors are bestowed on the top-three finishers in each event.

Leszcynski was the PSAC champion in the javelin with a throw of 47.48 meters (155' 9") and won four javelin competitions in total throughout the spring. She was the NCAA National Champion in the event and All-American, with a school-record throw of 52.07m – the furthest throw in all of Division II this spring. The title was also the first Bloomsburg women's track & field national championship in any event.
 
She adds PSAC Women's Field Athlete of the Years honoree to her already extensive resume as she was named the USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Field Athlete of the Year, earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors, and was a PSAC Spring Top-10 honoree. In 2023, Leszcynski was an All-American after finishing fourth at the NCAA DII 2023 Track & Field Championships and was the PSAC runner-up in the javelin. She brought home All-Region honors as well. Leszcynski is the school record holder in the javelin and has the 11 furthest throws in program history.

Shivok earned All-PSAC honors in the pole vault for the first time in her career as she finished second overall at the PSAC Championship meet with a jump of 3.77 meters (12' 4.5"). She is a two-time USTFCCCA All-Region honoree as she finished fourth in the Atlantic Region during the outdoor season and fifth during the 2023-24 indoor season.
