AUSTIN, Texas – Bloomsburg women's track & field's standout
Kelly Leszcynski (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) continues to receive postseason honors as she earned First Team College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America honors, as announced Tuesday.

Leszcynski, a secondary education major, specializing in math from Nazareth, Pa., carried a 3.98 GPA through her junior year at Bloomsburg. In just two years competing for the Huskies, Leszcynski has made her mark in the Huskies' record book. She won the National Championship in the javelin this past May with a school-record throw of 52.07 meters (170' 10"), the furthest throw in NCAA DII this season and the 12
th furthest throw in NCAA DII women's history. She is the first national champion for the Bloomsburg women's track & field program.

This season, Leszcynski was the PSAC Women's Field Athlete of the Year, the USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Field Athlete of the Year, and the 2025 PSAC javelin champion. She finished fourth at Penn Relays championship flight in the javelin and was an USTFCCCA All-Region honoree for the second time.

In her career, Leszcynski earned PSAC Women's Track & Field Freshman of the Year honors in 2023, is a two-time All-American (4
th in the javelin in 2023), and a two-time USTFCCCA All-Region honoree. Academically, she earned CSC All-District honors in both basketball and track & field this year, is a two-time USTFCCCA All-Academic team member, a two-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete, and was named to the PSAC Top-10 list this past spring.

Leszcynski holds the top 11 throws in Bloomsburg history in the javelin and battled back from injury after missing the entire 2023-24 athletic year.
