Men's Cross Country Picked 11th in PSAC Preseason Poll

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's cross country team has been picked to finish 11th in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) as voted on by the league's head coaches in the annual preseason poll on Wednesday.
 
The Huskies enter the 2025 season with a younger roster and will look to gain valuable experience throughout the season.
 
After winning the back-to-back PSAC Championships, Shippensburg landed the top spot in the preseason poll for the third year in a row. East Stroudsburg received one first-place vote to take second while Slippery Rock was voted third in this year's poll. Kutztown and Lock Haven round out the top five.

KEY RETURNERS
After losing key runners like Peyton Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) and Caden Dufrene (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run), the Huskies will look to fresh faces to led the charge for the maroon and gold.
 
Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) finished 73rd in the PSAC Championships last season. The junior posted career-best in the 8K last season, running a time of 27:09.0 at the 23rd annual LHU XC Invitational. Tepper recorded another personal best at the NCAA DII Atlantic Regional Championships, running a time of 33:31.0.
 
Sophomore Braeden Arnold (/) returns for his sophomore campaign and will look to lead the Huskies' young core of runners. Arnold posted his best time of the year in the PSAC Championships, finishing 115th with a time of 29:20.9.
 
SCHEDULE NOTES
Bloomsburg opens the season at the Doug Watts Open in Edinboro on Saturday, September 6. The race will serve as a course preview for the PSAC Championships later in the year.
The maroon and gold will head to Kutztown the following weekend for the DII/DIII Challenge on Saturday, September 13.
 
Following a weekend off, the Huskies make a trip to Lock Haven for a meet on Saturday, September 27. Bloomsburg will then compete at the Paul Short XC Run hosted by Lehigh on Friday, October 3.
 
The PSAC Championships will be held on Saturday, October 25 in Edinboro.
 
Bloomsburg will compete in the Go Fast River Run hosted by Lock Haven on Saturday, November 1 before returning back the next weekend for the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships.
