LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg men's track and field team competed in the Guldan Invitational at Bucknell University. The team had a couple PSAC qualifiers and an NCAA Division II qualifier.
The invite featured a seventh-place performance from
Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) in the 800-meter run with a final of 2:00.11. Justin Hermann was featured in the 60-meter hurdles. He finished with a PSAC qualifying time of 8.60. The team of
Christopher Brittingham (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford),
Landon Kester (Benton, Pa./Benton), Chris Schearer and
Finnegan Purtle (/) placed sixth in the 4x400 relay with a final of 3:31.36.
Daniel Ajuz (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) placed sixth in long jump with a PSAC qualifying distance of 6.92 meters. Ajuz also took the gold in triple jump with an NCAA Division II and PSAC qualifying distance of 14.65 meters.
Trevor Johnson (Kintnersville, Pa./Palisades) also competed in the triple jump and earned some points by taking seventh place.
Michael Taylor (/) had a PSAC qualifying throw in the weight throw with a distance of 16.30 meters.
The Huskies will stay in Lewisburg to participate in the Bison Open and Multi on Jan. 30.
