LEBANON, Pa. – Sophomore Rylan Bravin (Frederick, Md./Urbana) delivered one of the top rounds in Bloomsburg men's golf history Sunday, firing a two-under-par 70 to climb 11 spots on the individual leaderboard as the Huskies concluded the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Golf Championships at Iron Valley Golf Club. Bloomsburg finished seventh as a team.

Bravin's closing round matched the second-lowest 18-hole score in the program's published record book, equaling the 70 posted by Jarred Berish (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) during the opening round of the 2024 West Chester Invitational. Berish holds the program record with a 69 at the 2024 Husky Invitational.

The Frederick, Maryland, native finished tied for 23rd overall with a 15-over-par 231 (82-79-70) improving 17 positions from his 40th-place finish at the 2025 conference championship.

Bloomsburg finished the 54-hole championship with a team score of 955 (323-312-320) on the par-72, 6,750-yard layout. The Huskies posted their lowest team round Saturday with a 312 before closing with a 320 Sunday. Bloomsburg finished seventh as a team, tying the highest team finish for the Huskies at a PSAC Championship.

Bravin saved his best golf for the final round, turning in an even-par 36 on the front nine before carding a two-under 34 on the back. His round featured three birdies and an eagle, including birdies on the par-5 third and par-4 10th and 13th holes. He added an eagle on the par-5 16th hole before closing with a par on No. 18.

The sophomore's 70 established a new collegiate career low, surpassing his previous best of 73 recorded at the Jefferson Invitational earlier this fall. It also marked a 12-stroke improvement from his opening-round 82 and nine strokes better than his second-round 79.

Bravin entered the championship averaging 77.38 strokes through eight rounds this fall after posting an 80.2 average during his freshman campaign. His previous best 54-hole total was a 246 at the 2025 PSAC Championships, making Sunday's 231 a 15-stroke improvement over his conference championship debut.

Senior Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) finished second among the Huskies, tying for 29th with a 21-over-par 237 (81-75-81). Bush provided Bloomsburg's lowest round Saturday with a three-over 75, collecting birdies on the par-5 third and par-4 14th holes.

The Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, native concluded his fourth PSAC Championship appearance with another top-30 finish. Bush previously tied for 25th at both the 2024 and 2025 conference championships, posting totals of 235 and 234, respectively.

Bush entered the weekend with six career top-10 finishes and a 78.38 scoring average this fall. His season included a career-best 74 at the Susquehanna Invitational on Sept. 29, where he tied for 10th. One of Bloomsburg's most experienced competitors, Bush has been a consistent presence in the lineup throughout his four-year career.

Freshman Wilson Abram (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) finished 33rd in his first PSAC Championship appearance, recording a 26-over-par 242 (79-78-85). Abram opened with a seven-over 79 Friday, highlighted by an eagle on the par-4 10th and a birdie on the par-3 12th, before improving one stroke with a six-over 78 Saturday.

The Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, native entered the conference championship averaging 79.50 strokes across six rounds in his first collegiate season. His fall campaign included a season-best 76 at the Jefferson Invitational, and his opening-round 79 was Bloomsburg's lowest score Friday.

Sophomore Charlie O'Connor (Silver Spring, Md./Albert Einstein) finished tied for 36th with a 31-over-par 247 (82-81-84) in his first conference championship appearance. O'Connor recorded an opening-round 82 before improving to an 81 Saturday and closing with an 84 Sunday.

The Silver Spring, Maryland, native entered the championship leading Bloomsburg with a 77.0 stroke average across six rounds this fall. O'Connor had posted matching season-low rounds of 75 at the Husky Invitational and Susquehanna Invitational after competing in just three rounds during his freshman season in 2025-26.

Senior Connor Matteo (Drums, Pa./Hazleton) rounded out the Huskies' lineup in 40th place with a 36-over-par 252 (81-80-91). Matteo opened with an 81 Friday and improved to an eight-over 80 Saturday before closing with a 91.

The Drums, Pennsylvania, native entered the championship averaging 78.25 strokes this fall and owned the Huskies' lowest round of the season with an even-par 72 at the Susquehanna Invitational. A transfer from California (Pa.), Matteo tied for 22nd at the 2025 PSAC Championships with a 17-over 233 in his first season with Bloomsburg. He also earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District recognition following the 2025-26 academic year.

Sunday's championship concluded a fall campaign highlighted by several strong individual performances and a historic team effort at Susquehanna. The Huskies matched the second-best single-day team score in program history at the Sept. 29 event, with Matteo's even-par 72 leading the way.

The Huskies close out the fall slate on Tuesday, October 20 at Alvernia.
