BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's swimming team is set to take on the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Swimming Championships, beginning February 18 at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa.

The Huskies finished second last year as a team with 1,052 team points. The Huskies look to defend their 200 and 400 free relay titles while several swimmers are poised for all-conference performances over the next four days.

Last season, the Huskies won the 200 freestyle relay and the 400 freestyle relay with school-record setting performances. Morgan Holmes (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway), Sidney Beers (DeBois, Pa./DuBois Area), Rachel Cunningham (Hanover, Pa./South Western), and Rylee Wenzel (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) won the 200 with a time of 1:33.73 while Holmes, Maddie Osantich, Cunningham and Rylee Wenzel (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) won the 400 relay with a time of 3:25.46. The Huskies are ranked fifth in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:35.84 going into the championships and first in the 400 with a time of 3:28.57.
 
Grace McBlain (Aldan, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) is set to have a strong championship meet as she enters the week seeded fifth in the 200-IM (2:07.86), fourth in the 400-IM (4:32.51), second in the 200-fly (2:04.09), and seventh in the 200-yard backstroke (2:06.72). Last year, McBlain finished third in both the 400-IM and the 200-fly last year for all-conference honors.
 
Last season, Rachel Cunningham (Hanover, Pa./South Western) narrowly missed individual all-conference honors and will compete for the top three-spots in a pair of events this year. She is ranked fourth in the 50-yard free with a time of 23.62 while she comes into the week ninth in the 100-yard free with a time of 52.36. Last year she took fourth in the 100 and fifth in the 200 freestyle races.
 
Morgan Holmes (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) finished third in the 100 free last year and is seeded second with a time of 50.77, 0.45 faster than her all-conference time a season ago. Holmes is seeded fifth in the 50-free with a time of 23.73, seventh in the 200 free (1:54.34), and eighth in the 100-back (58.35).
 
Vanesa Valli (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) is ranked just outside the top-8 in the 200-IM as she comes into the week ninth with a time of 2:09.84 and just a spot outside of all-conference honors at fourth in the 100-fly with a time of 57.24. Valli is seeded third in the 100-breaststroke with a time of 1:04.49 and 12^th in the 200-breaststroke with a time of 2:24.72.
