BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's indoor track & field team sits in ninth with seven team points after the first day of the 2026 PSAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday.

Daniel Ajuz (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) highlighted the day for the Huskies as he broke the school record in the long jump to take third overall. Ajuz broke the 49-year old record in dramatic fashion with his fifth jump of the day. After clearing seven meters (7.02 meters) with his fourth jump, Ajuz shattered the school record with a jump of 7.25 meters (23' 9"), breaking the previous mark of 7.11 set in 1977 by Barry Staton. Ajuz hit 7.20 meters in his final jump and finished third overall. His mark of 7.25 meters is a NCAA DII Provisional mark and is currently 35
th on the indoor qualifying list.

The distance medley relay team of
Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East),
Katrell Butler (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area),
Jordan Mann (Kunkletown, Pa./Palmerton), and Rex Far earned a spot on the podium after taking eighth overall with a time of 10:42.68.

Andrew Kane (Bradford, Pa./Bradford Area) is currently 11
th in the heptathlon with 2386 points. He took 10
th in the 60-meters (7.50), seventh in the long jump (6.35 meters), ninth in the shot put (9.24 meters), and eighth in the high jump (1.73 meters). He has the 60-meter hurdles, pole vault, and 1,000-meters to go on Sunday.
