HERSHEY, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's tennis team took down Frostburg State, 5-2, in a hard-fought match on Saturday night.

In doubles action,
Jaime Soria (Pamplona, Spain/Liceo Monjardin) and
Jack Seaborn (Cambridge, England/The Leys School) picked up the first win of the night, claiming a 6-0 victory in the No. 2 spot. After Frostburg State won the No. 3 doubles match
Denis Dementev (Saint-Petersburg, Russia/Russian Gymnasium at the State Russian Museum) and
Sergio Dilan (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Cedin) picked up a 6-4 victory over German Diaz and Cole Alcala in the No. 1 slot to claim the doubles point.

The Bobcats tied the match at one with a win in the No. 1 single match, before a 6-2, 6-4 victory in No. 2 singles from Alex Higuera gave the Huskies the lead once more. Soria extended the Huskies advantage, winning 6-4, 2-6, 6-1 in No. 3 singles.

Seaborn clinched the match victory for Bloomsburg in No.3 singles with a 6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-3, comeback win. Dilan added one more win for the Huskies in No. 5 singles, winning 6-3, 6-1 en route to a 5-2 team win for Bloomsburg.

The Huskies are back in action on Friday, March 6 as they travel to Ithaca for a 12 p.m. match.
