NORRISTOWN, Pa. - Â The Bloomsburg men's golf team sits in ninth place after the opening round of the Jefferson Spring Invitational at the Jeffersonville Golf Club on Thursday afternoon.

Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) leads the Huskies after the opening round, shooting a seven-over 77 to sit in a six-way tie for 21st. Bush sits four strokes back of the top five.

Jarred Berish (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) sits one stroke back of Bush and is tied for 27th with a 78 on day one.
Rylan Bravin (Frederick, Md./Urbana) shot a 13-over 83 to end the day tied for 45th.

Luca Neally (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) rounded out the Huskies' scorers with a 14-over 84 and is tied for 48th.
Connor Matteo (Drums, Pa./Hazleton) is tied for 51st after posting a 16-over 86.

Bloomsburg posted a team score of 322 (+42) in the opening round.

The Huskies are back in action on Friday, March 20 for the second round beginning at 9 a.m.
