BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg women's track and field team had multiple Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifiers and personal bests on senior day at the Maroon & Gold Invite.
Aleese Stair (/) took second in the 100-meter dash with a personal best time of 12.81.
Lindsey Pelaez (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) also got a personal best with a 12.84 time.
In the 800-meter,
Lexi Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) won the race with a 2:15.69 time. Senior
Cori McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) had a personal-best time of 2:21.44 in the race, taking second.
Alyssa Cunningham (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) followed behind with a time of 2:23.24, another personal best.
Sydney Werner (Reading, Pa./Conrad Weiser) took the gold in the 1500-meter with a time of 4:55.11.
Josephine Reed (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) joined Werner by taking third at 5:03.83.
In the 5000-meter,
Melina Turner (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) dominated with a time of 20:46.00.
Madeline Ikeler and Pelaez both earned a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) time of 15.22 and 15.50 respectively in the 100-hurdles. Pelaez's time was her personal best in the event.
Abby Parise (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) won the 400-hurdles with a PSAC qualifying time of 1:02.90.
In the high jump,
Aria Messner (Avoca, Pa./Pittston Area) and
Jewel Little (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg Area) both jumped a mark of 1.54 meters (5'0.5")
The pole vault featured
Hannah Gerhart (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest)Â flying over 2.82 meters (9'3").
Bailey O'Keefe (Effort, Pa./Pleasant Valley) and
Evelina Schaaf (/) followed behind by both clearing 2.82 meters (9'3"). Schaaf's vault was her personal best.
The long jump featured Messner earning a PSAC qualifying jump of 5.73 meters.
Devin Hubler (Minersville, Pa./Minersville Area) also got a PSAC qualifying jump with 5.59 meters. Parise finished third by jumping 5.23 meters.
Triple jump had Hubler qualifying again with her jumping a distance of 11.72 meters. Pelaez followed behind with an 11.42 conference-qualifying jump.
Mikaela Sullivan (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) took the gold in the shot put by throwing a 12.87 meters.
Laura Dunn (/) placed third in the event by throwing 11.78 meters.
Discuss was dominated by
Julia Beccari (Lake Ronkonkoma, Pa./Sachem North) who threw a 42.46-meter heave, a personal best and a PSAC qualifying throw.
Annissah Magloire (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg Senior) was featured and threw 35.79 meters, her new personal best.
Sarah Trimble (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford Area) took third with a 30.80-meter throw.
Beccari continued her hot streak with a 49.01-meter throw in the hammer breaking the school record. Her throw was another PSAC qualifying and personal best heave.
Grace Lippincott (State College, Pa./State College Area) placed third with a personal-best 44.11-meter throw.
Megan Worthington (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) finished the invite with a 28.80-meter throw in the javelin. This was her personal best throw.
