NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Bloomsburg women's lacrosse team earned additional postseason awards as the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its 2026 Academic Honor Squads and Honor Roll Wednesday afternoon. As a team, the Huskies were named an Academic Honor Squad for the 10th-straight season, and 12 players earned Academic Honor Roll accolades.

Alexis Guzylak (Corning, N.Y./Horseheads),
Drew Palumbo (Flanders, N.J./Mount Olive),
Danielle Preston (Harleysville, Pa./North Penn), and
Mikayla Viola (Allentown, Pa./Emmaus) and junior
Payton Bettys (Palm, Pa./Upper Perkiomen),
Delaney Fox (Barto, Pa./Boyertown),
Kiera Holt (North Wales, Pa./North Penn),
Samantha Keck (Denver, Pa./Cocalico),
Sophie Mellman (Middle Island, N.Y./Longwood),
Emily Simpson (North Wales, Pa./Lansdale Catholic),
Marykate Sitko (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen), and
Kayla Stressman (Harleysville, Pa./North Penn) were named to the IWLCA Honor Roll. Its the second honor for Palumbo, Guzylak, Preston, and Viola and the first for the junior class.
All 12 IWLCA honorees were named to the PSAC Scholar Athlete list while Sitko, Guzylak, Simpson, and Fox were honored by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) as Academic All-District team members.Â

The IWLCA honored 568 student-athletes from 65 different institutions on the 2025-26 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.Â

The Huskies earned the Academic Honor Squad accolade for the 10th time in the last 11 years, as no academic awards were given by the IWLCA in 2020. Following the 2025-26 academic year, the Huskies posted a team GPA of 3.450.
The IWLCA has named 357 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as IWLCA Academic Honor Squads for the 2025-26 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
