Bloomsburg Athletics

Carey had a productive spring and is competing for the starting quarterback spot. He has a thorough understanding of the offense and brings veteran leadership to the group. Carey is tough, determined and competitive, and he has learned to lead the offense this spring. The Huskies will benefit from his maturity and leadership. Carey arrived at Bloomsburg after transferring from Lafayette. 

2011: Honored as a 2011-12 Bloomsburg University Scholar-Athlete (3/1)...Completed 10-of-21 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown to end the regular season with a 34-3 win over Lock Haven (11/12)...Passed for one touchdown and rushed for another on 75 yards total passing against Kutztown (11/5)...Completed 13-of-26 passing attempts for 224 yards and two touchdowns in the biggest rally of NCAA Division II history to beat West Chester (10/22)... Threw for three touchdowns on  201 yards passing in a 38-18 victory over Shippensburg (10/15)... Completed 10-of-12 passing attempts for 145 yards and one touchdown in a 45-10 victory over Cheyney (10/8)...Posted a touchdown on 15-of-21 passing for 198 yards in a 32-20 victory over East Stroudsburg (10/1)...Passed for one touchdown on 11-of-16 passing in a 46-7 victory over Millersville (9/24)... Finished with two touchdown on 9-of-18 passing for 235 yards in the 20-16 win over IUP (9/15)... Completed 8-of-15 passing attempts for 94 yards in the 45-10 victory over Clarion (9/10)...  Completed 7-of-18 passing attempts for 98 yards and a touchdown in the season opener against Ashland (9/1)...

2010: Started all 13 games for the Huskies...Had two or more touchdown passes in 10 straight games...Passed for one touchdown on 111 yards passing against Mercyhurst in NCAA Playoffs (11/26)...Completed 8-17 for 99 yards and one touchdown in the 28-26 victory over California (11/20)...Rushed for one touchdown and passed for three touchdowns on 22-37 passing for 311 yards against Mercyhurst (11/13)...Went 11-17 for 236 yards and added two touchdowns in the 61-35 victory over Kutztown (11/6)...Passed 7-18 for 119 yards and added two touchdowns against C.W. Post (10/30)...Passed 7-13 for 122 yards and three touchdowns to lead Bloomsburg to a 45-21 victory over West Chester (10/23)...Finished with two touchdowns on 14-20 passing for a total of 176 yards in the win over Shippensburg (10/16)...Was 5-6 for 126 yards and two touchdowns in win over Cheyney (10/9)...Ended the game with two touchdowns and completed 6-21 passes for a total of 67 yards in win over East Stroudsburg (10/02)...Completed 11-17 passes for 119 yards with two touchdowns in win over Millersville (9/25)...Completed 13 of 19 passing attempts for 237 yards with two touchdown throws against IUP (9/18)...Completed 8 of 15 passing attempts for a total of 153 yards with two touchdowns against Clarion (9/11)...Made first career start against Ashland and completed 14 of 28 passing attempts for a total of 150 yards (9/4)...
