Rivera earned first team All-PSAC honors in 2009, leading the Husky secondary with 58 total tackles. He also registered one interception and 11 pass break-ups on the year. Combined with his unfailing work ethic and his knowledge of the game, Rivera's skill makes him a natural leader amongst his peers. He is a fierce competitor that will challenge himself to have another all-star season.

2011: Earned third-team All-Region defense honors on the 2011 Don Hansen All-Super Region One team...Named as an All-PSAC first team selection for the third straight time...Registered two broken up passes and a tackle to end the regular season with a 34-3 win over Lock Haven (11/12)...Collected three tackles and broke up two passes against Kutztown (11/5)...Logged seven tackles and caused a broken up pass against C.W. Post (10/28)...Registered six tackles and one pass breakup in a 55-42 comeback victory over West Chester (10/22)...Recorded four tackles in a 38-18 win over Shippensburg (10/15)...Caused two passes to be broken up in a 32-20 victory over East Stroudsburg (10/1)...Made eight tackles and posted a broken up pass in the 20-16 victory over IUP (9/15)...Posted both an assisted sack and a tackle for a loss in the 45-10 win over Clarion (9/10)... Recorded six tackles, had an interception and broke up a pass in the 27-20 season opener victory over Ashland (9/1)...

2010: Named first team All-PSAC East for the second straight year....Finished the season with a total of 53 tackles and 16 pass breakups...Started in all 13 games this season for the Huskies...Recorded six tackles and one broken up pass against Ashland (9/4)...Recorded six tackles and two pass breakups against Clarion (9/11)...Made three tackles and caused two passes to be broken up in the win over IUP (9/18)...Recorded one and a half tackles in win over Millersville (9/25)...Recorded two tackles in a win over Cheyney (10/9)...Made three tackles and had one tackle for a loss of 4 yards in the 23-3 win over Shippensburg (10/16)...Recorded three tackles in the win over West Chester (10/23)...Logged five tackles and caused five passes to be broken up in a win over C.W. Post (10/30)...Made four tackles, had an interception, and caused one pass to be broken up in the win over Kutztown (11/6/10)...Led the team in tackles with 11 in the 28-26 victory over California (11/20)...Recorded five tackles against Mercyhurst (11/26).

2009: Tied his career-high three times with nine tackles each against Ashland, C.W. Post and Shippensburg...Tallied 10 pass break-ups on the year...Named first team All-PSAC East...Led the Huskies secondary with 58 total tackles.

2008: Returned an interception for 52-yard TD in early-season win over California (PA)...Made a career-high nine tackles in NCAA win over West Chester.
