Biography

2009-10: Named the winner of the Robert B. Redman award as the top Senior Male Athlete and the MVP for wrestling for the third straight year..Capped his brilliant career by making his third straight trip to the NCAA Division I national championships narrowly missing out on All-American honors...Posted a record of 28-5 on the season and was ranked in the top 10 of his weight class the entire season. Of his 28 wins, 21 came by fall, technical fall or major decision.... Was also selected to participate in the National Wrestling Coaches Association All-Star Classic in Fullerton, CA, an event that featured some of the top wrestlers in the country.... He also won his second Eastern Wrestling League championship this season and was named the Outstanding Wrestler at the PSAC Championships after picking up three first period pins in the tournament...Was twice named the EWL (Eastern Wrestling League) Wrestler of the Week and picked up the honor once from the PSAC...He ended his career with a record of 125-39, third on the school’s all-time win list...He was also a two-time winner of the Underclass Male Athlete of the Year at Bloomsburg....2008-09: Earned All-American honors for the second time with a sixth-place finish at the NCAA championships… Was ranked in the top 10 of his weight class all season long… Led the Huskies with a record of 36-8, including a dual meet record of 12-1.Of his 36 wins, 21 more than 58 percent came by way of fall, technical fall or major decision. ..At the Eastern Wrestling League championships he captured his first EWL title with a win over his long-time rival from Edinboro who came into the event ranked number one in the country and undefeated. Moley earned an 8-5 win and was named the Outstanding Wrestler of the event. …Was also named the EWL Wrestler of the Week on Nov 30th….Picked up a win by fall in just 21 seconds at the Southern Scuffle…Also had a pin in 44 seconds against Rutgers… He will enter his senior year just three wins shy of 100 and just 29 wins shy of setting a new school record for career victories... 2007-08: Earned All-American honors with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA championships…Was the 17th wrestler in school history to earn All-American honors…Finished second at the EWL championships…Was named the EWL and PSAC Wrestler of the Week for Nov. 20th after he went undefeated in five matches, including a 2-1 win over All-American Matt Kocher of No. 19 Pittsburgh…Took third at the Binghamton Open and fifth at the Southern Scuffle….Posted 34 wins on the season, including five pins, two technical falls and seven major decisions…Started the season winning 15 of his first 16 matches. 2006-07: Capped his freshman season by earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament where he went 2-2...Qualifed for the NCAA championships as a wild-card after finishing fourth at the EWL Championships...Was named both the EWL and PSAC Rookie of the Year... Placed second at the Oklahoma Gold Tournament, the Navy Classic, and the PSAC Championships. Had six major decisions, one technical fall and seven pins during the year. High School: Was 131-26 in his career and finished second at the PIAA “AAA” championships.
