Bloomsburg Athletics

After an outstanding spring, Cox will be a starting fullback again this season. Like a coach on the field, he has a firm grasp of what the team is trying to do and knows every position's responsibility. He makes few mental mistakes and plays to his physical limits, quietly leading by example. Cox is the prototypical Bloomsburg Husky: selfless, hard working, enthusiastic, and physical. His brother Mike Cox is a running back for the Kansas City Chiefs.

2011: Honored as a 2011-12 Bloomsburg University Scholar-Athlete (3/1)...Earned second-team All-American offense honors on the 2011 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-American team...Earned first-team All-Region offense honors on the 2011 Don Hansen All-Super Region One team...Rushed for 22 yards on five carries against C.W. Post (10/28)...Made a 22 yard reception in a 55-42 comeback win over West Chester (10/22)...Recorded a 61 yard run on a fake punt in a 38-18 victory over Shippensburg (10/15)... Made a 23 yard reception in a 32-20 victory over East Stroudsburg (10/1)... Recorded a rush for 35 yards in the 45-10 victory over Clarion (9/10)... Carried the ball two times for 11 yards including a 6-yard run on a fake punt in the 27-20 win over Ashland (9/1)...  

 2010: Played in all 13 games this season for the Huskies...Rushed for a total of 193 yards this season for the Huskies...Rushed for 32 yards on six carries in the 61-35 win over Kutztown (11/6/10)...Rushed for 41 yards on six carries in the win over C.W. Post (10/30)...Rushed for 25 yards on five carries against West Chester (10/23)...Rushed for 3 yards on two carries in the win over Shippensburg (10/16)...Rushed for 30 yards on four carries in the win over East Stroudsburg (10/2)...Rushed for 18 yards on four carries in win over Millersville (9/25)...Rushed for 17 yards on two carries against IUP (9/18)...Rushed for 14 yards on two carries with one touchdown against Clarion (9/11)...Made one reception for 8 yards against Ashland (9/4)...

2009: Backup fullback for the Huskies...Saw action in all 11 games...Made 11-yard reception against Cheyney...Caught nine-yard pass against Millersville...

2008: Recorded career-long 14-yard rush attempt against Millersville.
