RESULTSSELINSGROVE—
Jack Rosenstein (Shohola/Delaware Valley) broke his own school record in the hammer throw to lead the Bloomsburg University men's track and field team at the Crusader Outdoor Classic on Saturday.
Rosenstein set the mark and won the event with a toss of 53.91 meters (176' 10") breaking his own mark of 53.49 meters.
Carl Frauenpreis (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) was third in 44.51 meters.
Improving his PSAC qualifying mark, and winning the event, was
Cole Parkinson (Boyerstown /St. Pius X) in the long jump posting a jump of 6.81 meters (22' 4 ¾"), while Ricky Campione set a PR in the discus with a throw of 40.14 meters, good for second place.
Parkinson also took third in the 100-meter dash in 11.242 seconds, while
Robert Lee (Mercersburg/James Buchanan) was fourth in 11.246 seconds. At 400-meters Jesse Mustapha was second in 50.75 seconds and third at 200-meters in 22.81 seconds.
In the high jump
Griffin Schwab (Tatamy/Nazareth Area) took first with a mark of 1.92 meters (6' 3 ½"), while in the shot put
Patrick Lehman (Hanover/Spring Grove) was fourth with a throw of 13.27 meters (43' 6 ½").
Bloomsburg will compete at Bucknell next Saturday and Sunday.
