SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's track and field team earned a pair of podium finishes from
Daniel Ajuz (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) and
Peyton Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) in the second day of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Championship on Friday. The Huskies sit in 12th with five points.

Ajuz scored the first points of the conference championships for Bloomsburg, taking seventh in the long jump. The freshman achieved a mark of 7.08 meters (23' 2.75") on his second jump. Ajuz competes again on Saturday in the triple jump.

Peyton Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) picked up two points for the Huskies as he took sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Riley ran a time of 9:42.45 to earn his second-career podium finish in the event. He is back in action on Saturday afternoon as he runs in the first heat of the 1,500-meters.

Justin Herrmann earned a spot in the Saturday's 100-meter final running a qualifying time of 15.03. The sophomore finished second in the third heat guarantee himself a spot on the podium. Â

Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) had an impressive showing in the 800-meters, finishing with the eighth in the prelims. The sophomore ran a season-best time of 1:56.13 in the third heat. Despite having one of the top eight times in the prelims, Tepper will not compete in the finals of the 800-meters by virtue of Ethan Quezada of Edinboro earning an automatic qualifier in the second heat.

Tyler Leitzel (/),
Jalik Hill (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon) and Bryce Pattillo ran a 43.20 in the 4x100-meter relay, finishing tenth in the event. Leitzel also ran in the 100-meter dash and placed 19th with a time of 11.09.
William Burdett (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) took 15th in the 400-meter hurdles after running a 1:00.47.

In the Decathlon,
Andrew Kane (/) took 12th with a personal-best 5,312 points. Kane's performance was highlighted by a 6th place finish in the 1,500-meters as he set a new PR in the event by nearly 5 seconds, running a 4:48.96.
Michael Stebila (/) took 15th in the decathlon with 5,087 points. The sophomore had the fourth-longest throw in the javelin, throwing 49.01 meters (160' 9").

The Huskies are back in action for day three of the PSAC Championships, starting at 11 a.m. with
Kaleb Zimmerman (Lancaster, Pa./Garden Spot) in the shot put.
