SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Three members of the Bloomsburg men's track and field team competed on the opening day of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Slippery Rock on Thursday.

Andrew Kane (/) currently sits in 13th through five events of the decathlon with 2,876 points. The junior posted his best event finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.38 meters. Kane ran time of 11.68 in the 100-meter dash and a 54.45 in the 400-meters.
Michael Stebila (/) sits in 16th in the decathlon with 2,816 points. His day was highlighted by a personal best mark of 6.03 meters in the long jump.

Junior
Jack Donchez (Bethlehem/Liberty High School) placed 17th for the Huskies in the hammer throw. After fouling on his first throw, Donchez threw a mark of 44.87 meters on his second attempt. He finished the event with his best throw of the day, a mark of 45.99 meters.

Kane and Stebila are back in action on Friday morning at 10 a.m. to complete the decathlon while the long jump kicks off the rest of the meet for the Huskies at 12 p.m.
