Schutz went a perfect 4-0 for the week at 133 pounds earning a victory over Indiana in a dual on Thursday night before claiming the 133-pound title at the Army West Point Black Knight Invitational on Sunday afternoon. On Thursday, Schutz earned a 4-0 decision over Indiana's Garrett Pepple during the Huskies' 19-18 loss to the Hoosiers. The senior improved to a perfect 3-0 in dual meets this season. Seeded first, Schutz then went a perfect 3-0 on Sunday to win the 133-pound bracket at Army. He opened with an 8-3 decision over Army's Lane Peters and then posted a 12-9 decision over Rutgers' Alex Mackall in the semifinals. Then, in the finals, Schutz earned a 9-2 decision over Lock Haven's DJ Feldman, the second seed, to win the bracket. Schutz is now 10-2 on the season.
