Redshirt sophomore Jenna Hawkins was unscored upon in 200 minutes of action in goal for the Huskies this week as she helped lead the women's soccer team to a 1-0-1 record in two matches. On Friday, Hawkins needed to make just one save in a 0-0 double overtime tie at Mercyhurst. Then, on Sunday, Hawkins turned aside a season-high seven shots as the Huskies upset fifth-ranked West Chester, 1-0. Two of her saves came after the Huskies took the lead in the 61st minute. The seven saves marks the third-highest total of her collegiate career and she has not allowed a goal in the last 229:17. Hawkins is now 5-2-1 on the season with a 0.49 goals against average and an .826 save percentage. With her two shutouts over the weekend, Hawkins now has a PSAC-leading six in eight starts. She also ranks fourth in goals against average and seventh in save percentage.
