GREENSBORO, NC—The Bloomsburg University wrestling team finished 24th at the 2010 Southern Scuffle tournament in Greensboro, NC. The Huskies finished with 27 points.
On day two of the tournament the Huskies
Derek Shingara (Shamokin, Shamokin) at 141 pounds began round five of consolations with an 8-3 win over Darius Little of North Carolina. In round six Shingara lost to Zack Kemmerer from Penn by a score of 5-2 to finish the tournament with a mark of 4-2.
At 157 pounds
Bryce Busler (Mechanicsburg, Cumberland Valley)was eliminated in round five of consolations with a 3-2 loss to James Vollrath, 3-2. At 197 pounds
Jake Dabashinsky (Schuylkill Haven, Blue Mountain) also lost in round five on consolations by Caylor Williams of North Carolina, 6-0.
Bloomsburg will be back in action on Tuesday, Jan. 4 hosting North Carolina State at 1 p.m. at the Nelson Field House.
