CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference placed 59 wrestlers on this year's 2025-26 Academic All-MAC team. All 12 of the league's teams were represented, led by the Kent State Golden Flashes with eight student-athlete honorees. 

George Mason and Northern Illinois both had the second-highest honorees with seven student-athletes to make the Academic All-MAC, followed by Central Michigan, Edinboro, and Ohio with six honorees each.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests scheduled or completed in the particular sport. First-year students and ANY transfer students in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award. 
 
Senior William Morrow (Harleysville, Pa./North Penn) earned the honor for the second time in his career. Morrow went 10-23 this year and had seven bonus point wins, including two falls and five tech falls. Morrow is also a two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District and a NWCA Scholar All-American honoree.
