BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Head coach John Stutzman and the Bloomsburg wrestling staff have announced the Huskies' incoming class for the 2026-27 season.

The newest pack of Huskies features 18 newcomers, including 15 incoming freshmen and three transfers. The class brings extensive championship experience to Bloomsburg with multiple state medalists and qualifiers, more than 2,000 combined high school career victories among the incoming freshmen, and a trio of transfers with collegiate and international experience.

"We are extremely excited about the group we are bringing into our program," Stutzman said. "This class has competed and won at a very high level, and just as importantly, they are hungry to continue developing. We believe we have added competitors who fit the culture we are building at Bloomsburg and who understand the expectations that come with representing this program. There is a lot of talent in this group, and we are looking forward to getting them in the room and watching them compete."

Sanchez and Johnson give the Huskies additional Division I collegiate experience. Sanchez was a Florida state champion during his high school career, while Johnson was a Pennsylvania state champion and enters Bloomsburg with 31 collegiate victories.

"This group gives us a strong combination of young talent and experienced wrestlers who have already competed at the collegiate level," Stutzman said. "Our goal is to continue raising the standard in our room every day. These young men have demonstrated that they know how to compete, and now the challenge is to bring that same mentality to Bloomsburg, develop within our program and help move Husky wrestling forward."
