After the Lady Raiders responded with a goal of their own, Bloomsburg scored three straight, with two coming from Samantha Mazzie, to take a 4-1 lead.

Shippensburg responded with two goals just 24 seconds apart to cut its deficit to one before the Huskies offense exploded with six unanswered goals over the next 10:38 to take a commanding 10-3 lead. Five players scored on those six goals, with Samantha King (Elkton, MD, North East) notching two. The Lady Raiders were able to add a goal 29 seconds before half, cutting the Huskies lead to six.

After a Tia Mazzie (Barto/Boyertown) goal 1:06 into the second half put the Huskies back on top by seven, the Lady Raiders found the back of the net twice, cutting the Bloomsburg lead to 11-6 with 21:15 remaining in the game. The Huskies rebounded, getting a goal from Allie Kakareka (Royersford, Spring-Ford) and two from Lyndsey Babilon (Boyertown, Boyertown) to stretch their lead to 14-6 with 12:42 left. Both defenses dug in during the remaining minutes as Shippensburg managed a goal with 1:06 remaining, as the Huskies took the seven-goal victory.

Kakareka and Babilon each added three goals for the Huskies while Springman had a goal and three assists. Shelby Iezzi (Pottstown, Owen J. Roberts) went the distance in goal, making 10 saves.

The Huskies will finish up the regular season as they host Kutztown on Senior Day this Saturday. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. at Sports Stadium.
