LEWISBURG—The Bloomsburg men's indoor track team had a successful day two at the Bison Open at Bucknell University.
In the heptathlon
Stephen Grib (Vernon, NJ, Vernon) set personal records in four events including the 60 hurdle (9.21) , pole vault (3.85m) and 1000m run (2:54.27). Grib finished 4
th overall and improved his personal record by nearly 500 points from last year.
In the 60m dash
Ryan Dickerson (Harleysville, Souderton) ran a 7.19 to advance to the finals.
Jessie Mustapha (Philadelphia, University City) finished 3
rd overall (23.20) and
Devin Barr (Pottstown, Pottsgrove) took 4
th overall (23.34) in the 200m dash. Mustapha (50.93) also took first place in the 400m dash, while
Cal Rosenstein (Shohola, Delaware Valley) had a season best (53.97).
In the 500m run
Joe Pesci (Doylestown, Central Bucks West ) set a five second personal record (1:11.96).
In the 800m
Jared Arnold (Philadelphia, Engineering & Science ) qualified for PSAC with a season indoor personal record (1:59.31).
Colin Clark (Shohola, Delaware Valley) also had a season best in the 800m (2:09.71).
Evan Makuvek (Pleasant Valley) set a personal record in the mile run (4:42.85), while
Michael Hookham (Middlesex, NJ, Middlesex) had a season best and won his heat in the 3000m run (9:10.64).
The Huskies will travel to East Stroudsburg next Saturday, February 5 for the DeSchriver Invitational.
