Men's Day Two Highlights From Bison Open

LEWISBURG—The Bloomsburg men's indoor track team had a successful day two at the Bison Open at Bucknell University.

In the heptathlon Stephen Grib (Vernon, NJ, Vernon) set personal records in four events including the 60 hurdle (9.21) , pole vault (3.85m) and 1000m run (2:54.27). Grib finished 4th overall and improved his personal record by nearly 500 points from last year.
In the 60m dash Ryan Dickerson (Harleysville, Souderton) ran a 7.19 to advance to the finals. 

Jessie Mustapha (Philadelphia, University City) finished 3rd overall (23.20) and Devin Barr (Pottstown, Pottsgrove) took 4th overall (23.34) in the 200m dash. Mustapha (50.93) also took first place in the 400m dash, while Cal Rosenstein (Shohola, Delaware Valley) had a season best (53.97).
In the 500m run Joe Pesci (Doylestown, Central Bucks West ) set a five second personal record (1:11.96).
In the 800m Jared Arnold (Philadelphia, Engineering & Science ) qualified for PSAC with a season indoor personal record (1:59.31). Colin Clark (Shohola, Delaware Valley) also had a season best in the 800m (2:09.71).
Evan Makuvek (Pleasant Valley) set a personal record in the mile run (4:42.85), while Michael Hookham (Middlesex, NJ, Middlesex) had a season best and won his heat in the 3000m run (9:10.64).

The Huskies will travel to East Stroudsburg next Saturday, February 5 for the DeSchriver Invitational.
